In Class Writing – Is the ending realistic? Does it indicate that Hilly changed?
I feel as though the ending was realistic for the movie (not in general). Movies are dramatized. Abiee and the rest of the maids were the under dogs in the movie. Had the movie ended with Hilly calling the police to have Abiee arrested (which would have worked) no one would have liked the ending and it would kind of have defeated the plot of the movie. I feel it was realistic to the point that Abiee did have a leg up on Hilly because she knew so much about her.
Hilly didn’t change which is why she was she was at Elizabeth’s house to fire Elizabeth’s maid.
In the end she’s still the same vindictive character she has been the entire movie.
